THK linear guide systems are unique motion control systems in which linear motion is supported by rolling contact elements. These linear motion guides (also known as “LM Guides”) can best be described as systems that use the principle of rotational motion using deep groove ball bearings. This principle makes it the easiest to use and most economical of all rotary motion bearings.

The LM series guide rails are the main products of THK’s linear technology, which made the company the first to put linear precision linear motion into practical applications. THK guide rails and THK slides therefore enable the development of machines with high quality, high rigidity, energy saving, speed and long service life. In order to provide a suitable linear motion solution, rail cars with balls or cylinders as rolling elements have been proposed. The rolling elements can be with or without cages. There are also many different rail sizes, from micro rails to maximum load rails.

THK HSR series linear motion guides combine practical linear rolling motion. In this series, rows of balls were placed at a 45-degree contact angle. The rated load is uniform when applied to the linear motion block in the radial, counter-radial and transverse directions. Due to this feature, this linear guide series can be implemented in all directions. Since this is a global range, it is available in a variety of sizes to suit a variety of applications from large to small. Our HSR range includes HSR8, HSR10, HSR12, HSR15, HSR20, HSR25, HSR30, HSR35, HSR45 and HSR55, with rail and slide lengths ranging from 160mm to 1600mm. A variety of mounting options are available by selecting HSR blocks with different configurations of threaded holes
